The Second Buddha, Padmakara, who after illuminating the sun of teachings in Tibet, the actual domain of influence, gathered the display of the three secrets in the frightening city of rakshasas. However, as the protector and refuge of beings, He once again appeared as the sublime being, Sengchen Gesar, the Great Lion who bestows the wonderful shower of benefit and happiness, opening the door of fortune and virtuous signs with these melodious auspicious verses.
Lingdro Dechen Rolmo is composed by Mipham Jamyang Namgyal Gyatso, who is the Lord of Speech of all the Buddhas, the supreme master scholar and the unsurpassable chariot of the Nyingma Tradition whose name and fame is familiar amongst the ocean of Tibetan scholars. This is a work which has been resulted from the remembrance of Mipham Rinpoche's past and his pure perception. Hence, this cannot be compared with other conventional dances because of its specialty in being rich in blessing and swift in bringing forth spiritual attainments. Emerging from the virtuous motivation and aspirations of Mipham Rinpoche, this spiritual dance is created for the benefit of future beings using vajra words which are the treasure house of blessing and power. This performance highlights the four-fold activities of Gesar, the Great King who is the embodiment of all the three roots and Buddhas of the three times including Guru Padmasambhava. If everyone who has gathered here watches this dance with virtuous motivation out of faith and pure perception, this will bring forth all the goodness in this and the next lives and pacify all the adversities like sickness and obstacles. This is the unfathomable power of interdependent nature of phenomena. Particularly, if one offers sincere prayers with faith and conviction while watching this performance, the blessings of Dralha Werma, the Gesar will enter one's mind and body and greatly help one to fulfill all aspirations.
